Workshops

The skeptic's concern A lot of people feel like using AI is cheating. If someone is just asking it to write or create things for them, it kind of is. When we outsource our thinking to a black box, we make ourselves dependent on tools we don't understand—or worse, we become the robot, copying and pasting whatever it generates into files and emails.
The organizational reality At the same time, individuals and organizations face immense pressure to adapt to AI—whatever that even means—or be left behind. Bosses and boards insist on seeing progress without any clear strategic vision for how to actually use the technology.
Both concerns are valid. My workshops address them together.

I run hands-on workshops that push past the chatbot and into real work. Participants set up their own environments, make informed decisions about how AI fits into what they do, and walk through guided projects tailored to their actual needs. The focus is practical: building tools, knowledge, and skills to integrate AI into real workflows in ways that are secure, useful, and aligned with an organization’s values and obligations.

I work at every level. I can sit with your technical and executive teams to develop an AI strategy that makes sense for your organization and I can run workshops that get your people tooled up and ready to follow through on that strategy in their role. I meet people where they are, whether they’ve never opened a terminal or they’ve been writing code for years. I work to empower anyone to take control of AI with confidence rather than avoiding it or becoming blindly dependent on it.

Workshops are available on-site or remotely. If you’re interested, I’d welcome a conversation about what would be most useful for your group.
