Effective July 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Grit ("Grit," "the service"), operated by Travis Ross. By using Grit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Grit connects to Google Docs that you choose and preserves their revision history so you can view and work with how those documents changed over time. Grit may create documents in your Google Drive at your direction and, at your direction, share them with people you designate.
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access data that is not yours, interfering with the service's operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
You retain all rights to your documents and their content. Grit claims no ownership of them. You grant Grit only the permissions necessary to access, store, and process the connected documents in order to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that stored data will always be preserved; you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents in your Google Drive.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grit and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
You may stop using Grit at any time and revoke its access from your Google Account permissions. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for conduct that violates these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
